We here at Floridahomesmonthly.com have had quite a long hard battle in the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) department. Six months ago we decided to tackle one of hardest search keywords to rank on for the State of Florida: “Florida Homes”. We realize that exposure on this key term is the critical piece to help our clients position their properties so they can be seen online. This search phrase has proven to be one tough cookie. It is exponentially harder to rank on this phrase than any other keyword, including “Florida Real Estate”.

Florida homes is searched nearly 300,000 times per month making it one of the top keywords in the Florida real estate market. Most realtors understand how essential it is to have information that drives clients toward their website. The problem, of course, is that no one is going to search “John Smith Real Estate”….unless they have already had exposure to John Smith and his company. This makes Floridahomesmonthly.com the perfect choice to market properties online. We have focused our energy on ranking on search terms that will result in traffic to our client’s listings. As a side note, our site now ranks on over 30 key Florida real estate-related terms.

In January 2011 alone, we had nearly 3000 UNIQUE and TARGETED visitors to our site. This total is the highest amount of traffic on our site to date, continuing our trend of driving new buyers to our site from our online keywords. We drove potential clients to view almost 6000 page views for the month…even more astonishing, considering there were only 5 true listings on the site and we have yet to launch our full marketing campaign!

As we move through 2011, we look forward to ranking higher and bringing more targeted buyers to our site.
